Estimating Permissible Life Cycle of Turboprop Propellers

As propellers exceed their permissible life and defect identification remains premature, failure becomes more likely; therefore, an accurate life cycle model can estimate maintenance and failure. A CFD-FEA model delineates the life cycle of a three fin propeller under worst case scenario loading conditions. Propeller life is 10^5 cycles.

More analysis (i.e. stress crack corrosion and force and random vibrations) should be explored.
